We are a proud affiliate of the internationally recognized Delta Society and are not affiliated with Intermountain Therapy Animals What is Animal-Assisted Therapy? The value of animals in promoting healing and growth is becoming increasingly recognized among professional healthcare, and educators. Today trained and Delta Society registered animal/handler teams are enhancing the traditional methods of professionals in healthcare, social sevice, psychiatric, rehabilitation, and education professionals throughout the world. What makes animal-assisted activity/therapy unique is that animals, not humans, do the real work. Time and again, our four-footed “therapists” have elicited nearly miraculous responses from deeply troubled or abused children, physically traumatized hospital patients, and even those who are terminally ill. DONATIONS As a Delta Society affiliate and 501(c)(3) nonprofit with no physical office using one paid employee and volunteer staff members to train and support animal-assisted therapy teams we are grateful for any donation sent to us.
